Famous Europeans

In Social Studies we have been working on learning about famous Europeans that have come to America or had helped explorers reach America. Groups worked on creating life sized portraits of these famous people. I think that they turned out quite nice and each group learned something new about their famous person.

The order of famous people is as follows (from top to bottom) Queen Isabella, Marco Polo, Junipero Serra, Christopher Columbus, Francisco Coronado, Leif Erickson, and Hernando Cortez. These are on display in the main Elementary hallway.
