Happy Holidays!

I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  I hope that you really enjoy spending time with your family and take the time to relax and unwind so we can come back to school next year fresh and ready to learn! :)

Please don't forget to read over break.  You need to turn in your sheet with your reading minutes (signed) when we come back on January 3rd.

See you next year!

Ski Trip to Giant's Ridge!

Remember that tomorrow is our ski trip to Giant's Ridge.

If you plan on having your child stay at Giant's Ridge remember that he or she MUST BE THERE WITH A PARENT OR OTHER ADULT THAT I ALREADY KNOW ABOUT.   We will be leaving Giant's Ridge around 2:00 PM so someone must be there with them at that time.  Otherwise they will have to come back with us on the bus.

Also, I have reminded the students not to bring electronic devices along on this trip.  There are just too many opportunities for these items to get lost.  Thank you for leaving them at home in a safe place!

This year Giant's Ridge is supplying helmets free of charge for all students to wear.  We will be requiring that every student wears a helmet for safety.  If you have your own helmet, by all means, bring it along!

We are looking forward to an awesome day of skiing!  Please dress warmly because the temperature is only going to be about 15 degrees.

See you all tomorrow!
Mrs. E.

December Events

December Events

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

We will be going on a skiing field trip to Giant’s Ridge on Friday, December 17. This will be an all day trip and should be a fun way to get some exercise. Please sign the enclosed permission slip and read the letter for more details.

Our holiday party is scheduled for Tuesday, December 21 in the afternoon starting at 2:00.

This year we will have a gift exchange. Please bring a gift for a person the same gender as you (if you are a girl, bring a girl’s gift, boys will bring a boy’s gift). Please limit the gifts to five dollars or less. We will play the dice game and each person will have a new gift to bring home.

If you would like to bring juice or a treat, or do a short activity (about half an hour) just let me know so I can plan accordingly.

Our holiday music concert will be on Wednesday, December 23 which is the last day of school before the winter break.

Happy Holidays,

Kelly Engman
