Ann Bancroft Event Rescheduled...

Just an FYI...

The Ann Bancroft event that we were going to attend in February in Hibbing has been rescheduled. I am excited that we are going to get the opportunity to see her talk. It should be exciting for the students to hear about her Antarctic adventures. I will be sending home a permission slip tomorrow so we can get an accurate count for lunches, etc. Please sign and return the slip by Thursday or Friday this week.

Also, we are having "shamrock shakes" on Friday for anyone who would like to purchase them. The cost is $2.00 and the money should be turned in by tomorrow.

Keep reading for Reading Counts! Your quarterly goal needs to be met or exceeded by next Friday, March 27!

A Sunny Winter/Spring Day!

I just love this weather!!

Here are today's assignments:

Spelling: Week 27 pretest. Write the words 3x or 5x each.
Reading: "The Homecoming" treasure hunt WS
Math: WB p. 55
Social Studies: Map Skills WS with the United States map

The spelling words this week are challenging. Please practice, practice, practice!

It is really important to know the multiplication facts BY HEART! If you do not know the facts, please take time to memorize them at home. We will not be taking any class time to do this. It should be done already!!

Now that it is nice outside make sure to make some time to get out and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine--that is important too! I should make that homework one night!

Have a good day,
Mrs. E.
