Hello and Good Afternoon!

Today we have several assignments.  They are all due tomorrow. 

Spelling: Write the words from the pretest (3x or 10x)
Reading: Worked on Reader's Theater (in class) and read Al Capone Does My Shirts
Math: WB p. 108 and Multiplication practice packet (3 pages)
Science: Electrocity Lesson 1 (in class)

Please work on turning in any missing assignments by the end of this week if you would like them counted in your mid-quarter grade.  Mid-quarter report cards will be coming out next week (already!!).

We will be testing soon--MCA Math and MAPS.  I will let you know as soon as I know the schedule.

Please return the permission slip for Jump Rope for Heart.

We had a WONDERFUL visit at the Wolf Center in Ely today.  What an experience!  We actually got to see the wolves communicating with each other.  It was awesome!

Today assignments:
Spelling: Crossword and Word Find
Math: Chapter 9 pre-test p. 460-462, 1-28

Tuesday, April 12

Today we enjoyed a nice walk prior to our MCA test.  I hope to do that again tomorrow!

Please remember to bring a snack and water to eat before testing.  If you would like you may also bring mints or gum to chew during the test.  Have a good book ready to read.  Get a good night sleep tonight and eat breakfast tomorrow please!

Today we didn't have many lessons, due to the test.  The only homework is Spelling: write the words 3x or 10x each if you misspelled them on the pretest. 

We enjoyed Popsicles today.  Good job kids!  You turned in five consecutive math assignments!  We are heading toward ten...and an afternoon of swimming!

Hello everyone!

I'm going to update the blog more often.  It seemed like March was a tough month and I apologize to all of you who checked it often! 

Tomorrow we have MCA testing.  Please make the effort to go to bed early and have a healthy breakfast and snack tomorrow.  Plan on bringing an extra snack and water to drink for tomorrow and Wednesday. 

We are going on our field trip to the Wolf Center on Thursday so please bring back your permission slip by tomorrow.  I need to let the cafeteria know how many cold lunches they need to pack.

Also on Thursday our shipment of frozen foods will be coming.  Please make arrangements to pick up the items after school and try to deliver them as soon as possible.  If you haven't already, you will be collecting the money for the items.  When you turn in all your money and everything is delivered, you will get your prizes.

Spelling: WS 116-117 (bonus words evaluate and rectangular)
Math: WB p. 106-107
Science: Science Studies Weekly Crossword Puzzle
