Just a few reminders:
There is a band meeting tonight at 6:00. Hope you all can attend. It seems that almost all of the students showed interest in joining band.
Today a permission slip was sent home for a concert at the senior center next Tuesday. Please sign and return ASAP!
There is a Science Chapter 1 test tomorrow.
Picture day is on Thursday. Don't forget the order forms and money!
Here are today's assignments:
Reading: We read the story "Just Like Me" in class. Tomorrow we will finish reading the story as a group and take a short quiz.
Spelling: workbook p. 23-24 and write a short story using 10 spelling words. Underline the words in your story.
Math: Chapter 1 test
Social Studies: We continued working in groups to find out information on the Mayan people.
